Common questions
Why is my forecast lower than I expected?
Our forecast is calibrated against thousands of comparable Steam launches in the same wishlist + genre range. Your gut number is often above the calibrated cone because gut estimates over-weight outlier successes. The cone shows the spread for games with your profile, with the P90 as the top of the usual range rather than the ceiling.
My free forecast got rate-limited. Why?
We rate-limit anonymous traffic to /forecast at 10 requests / 10 seconds per IP. Real human traffic almost never hits this. If you need to look up many games, the $299 launch report includes higher limits and full per-game analysis.
Is my Steamworks data shared with anyone?
No. CSV uploads to /attribution are stored encrypted, scoped to your account, and never shared with third parties. See privacy policy for full handling details.
My confirmation email never arrived.
Check spam first — senders new to your inbox often land there. Search for [email protected]. If still missing after 10 minutes, email [email protected] from your purchase email and we’ll resend manually.
Can I cancel my Customer Portal subscription?
There’s nothing to cancel — the $299 launch report is one-time, not a recurring subscription. The Customer Portal is for updating your payment method or billing email if you choose to. No charge will recur.
